Shaye Collins
Shaye Collins is a true Vermonter if ever there was one. He is a seventh generation Vermont Farmer, Maple Sugar Maker, Excavator, and Fish Hatchery Owner. Shaye’s nearly 400 acre farm is located high on a hill that overlooks a beautiful farming valley and has a birds-eye view of the Jay Peak Ski Area. In addition to managing a 25,000 tree maple business with his father, Tom Collins, Shaye also raises several breeds of cattle for his organic beef operation. In his down time, (haha) Shaye also runs his own excavation business which focuses on pond excavation with beautiful rock islands and unique features...when he’s done building the pond, he can stock it with trout raised right on his own state licensed trout hatchery that is also right on the farm!
